I still have my Christmas trees up in my living room. I love to think about the birth of Jesus Christ, and at Easter, I think about his love from heaven. Here is a poem I wrote to celebrate this year's Easter called "Easter is a Time for Love":

​Easter is my favorite holiday
because of Jesus having a new life
in a heavenly eternity to stay
in a happy place while overseeing earth’s strife.
 
I love the eternal love of Jesus Christ,
the Holy Spirit, and God high in the sky.
Jesus Christ his own loving life sacrificed
to help many sinners when their bodies die.
 
I’m like a sheep following a Shepherd great
who helps me lots from His position above                         
to find my way through mazes to freedom’s gate
while receiving His eternity of love.
 
I love to celebrate heavenly love
with family, friends, and the three above.

I love the Easter eggs on the cover design of Holidays Amaze. I also like the bright yellow color. The poem about an Easter egg hunt for Sunday School children in this book is interesting in the way the children reference parts of the bible. There's a nice narrative poem "Sticking Together on Easter" on pages 21-28 of Holidays Amaze; the children and adults in this poem are doing an outdoor Easter egg hunt near a pond. Here's one of the stanzas from page 22 of Holidays Amaze:
     The youngest child showed a picture on his sock:
     Jesus was helping Peter to water-walk;
     the child then pulled from his bag a book to show
     the hands of Jesus working miracles aglow:
     many acts of feeding, healing, and helping,
     such as saving the scared Peter from drowning.
